The Tension rises!

So UPS says our shipment left Forrest City for local delivery at 7:30 AM.
Cool. Hope it gets here by 5:30.

Obi has a cop-coat with brass buttons and a star.
Bunny now has a a blue plaid flannel camel suit.

Now I must sew a small blue plaid camel.

Tonight is pictures.

I got True Grit taped for my dad. Working on Corvette Summer for myself. Now I'll have a good copy w/o commercials. I'll tape jkb's copy tomorrow. walkerminion you want one?

Ten Inane Things

While i wait for the floor wax to dry so i am no longer trapped in the library, I thought I'd entertain myself with the meme that swtalmnd created from thamiris's post here

Ten Inane Things that Make Angel Happy

1) Hearing a high little voice pipe "Good Morning, Mommy" first thing. Dollface does this every morning before she says anything else.

2) Cantalope, scrapple and sizzelean for breakfast. Brings back many memories of my grandmother's kitchen, and summer morning breakfasts with her and grandpa.

3) A necktie, esp a garish or silly one. I love seeing men wear them, and I love wearing them myself. My favorite is either the Warhol-esque ESB tie or the Sam-I-Am tie from my waitress days. (I esp. like tying them just a hair too tight, but there we're out of inanity and into kink)

4) The smell of blooming hyacinths in the quad.

5) Finding something unexpected and minorly valuable. Today it was a bottle cap with a free pepsi on the underside.

6)The smell of bleach-heavy dishwashing detergant. Makes me happy and makes me think "ooo, clean"

7)the feel of Homespun yarn working through my fingers as I crochet

8)Scrambled eggs with mushrooms. A pan full of mushrooms, sauteed until they just begin to release their water, then enough egg to hold them together. Food of the gods. At least the hobbit gods.

9)having plot bunny assaults (Zombie!Leia)

10) The fact my kids are fannish and get my jokes.
