Ever have the sort of day where you go and go and go and don't seem to get anything done?
Yeah. had that.
Bunny spent all day at her buddy's and went to a concert this evening.
Obi spent all day with Bradlikin and is sleeping over.
We went for lunch at Central BBQ. Oh so good. Their BBQ beef is fantastic. The pulled pork is really good too. the sauce is a bit sweet, needs more smoke to it.
We shopped, considering getting Bunny a cell phone. Mudd is e-baying for one now.
I got the Easter eggs dyed, 2 loads of laundry done, 2 Christmas afghan squares made and the littles to bed. I captured from Big Red One, got about a verse of "Birds of Prey March" vidded, got the chorus planned and did some Mark squee-age. (a necessity. he's so young and cute in this one!) I went to the store and now the Easter baskets are ready. I ordered a bobbie hat and body paint.
I learned how to use the voice mail on the house phone.
Tomorrow: ham, scalloped potatoes, greenbean casserole, brown & serve rolls, sweet potatoes and strawberry shortcake.
And packaging of puffies, and remailing the Ravenclaw patch and more laundry, and more sewing, and maybe some pattern drafting (now that I've found my quad paper) for a camel and a bobbie and Hogwarts robes.
And I found a much-missed darling of mine,
charlesks, had friended me. We lost touch a few years back. I've known him online as long as I've known
jkb, and in person almost the same length of time. I'm intrigued by the fact he's had an lj since 2001. I feel so behind the times.
Now I'm all thoughtful about the migration of my computer life:
from private mailing lists on VM machines to Usenet groups to mailing lists at e-groups to yahoogroups to live journal.
