My day did not start auspiciously.
In fact, had Bunny's buddy not called, it might not be started yet.
I woke everyone at 7:20 had them dress and eat and drove them to school so they wouldn't be late.

I have to go get my paycheck and go to the bank.
Then grocery shopping.

My day grows no better.

Either I'm confused or payroll is. But there was no money for me. Thirty mile round trip for nothing including no new food. So i must be creative. Apollo 13 cooking, I've heard it called: "Here's what you have. Make something."

Lessee, a can of mushrooms, a can of vegall, some cooked chicken thighs and gravy mix. Voila! instant pot pie! (Pie crust i can do.)

And i swear it's genetic. My cat, who has never been fed canned food in his life, will cme running when I use the can opener. He'll purr round my ankles and look hopeful. "Sorry Thomas, just saurkraut."

Stupid cat got another bird. it must be spring, he's ready to hunt.
