Just bitching,

I am sick and tired of being so broke I have to use spare change to buy bread.

We make 60K/year. There is no damn reason I should have to count out dimes and pennies for a loaf of bread.

OTOH, we have bread, we have groceries and we'll be OK until the proceeds from the stock sale come through. We have clothes and gasoline and the utilities are on. We're doing better than a lot of people.

Just an example of my crazy life: we own stock, but are spare-changing to buy gas.

Ignore me, I'm hungry and there's no prospect of getting food in me any time soon. I hate PB&J.

I'm going to bake brownies. And cancel my MWC membership. It's too fraggin complicated. I'll go see my folks later in the summer.

I'm so confused

Why is it that the weather was 80+ yesterday but will be down around 30 tomorrow morning?

Why is it that Christians, who form 85% of the US population (according to Time Magazine), think they are a persecuted minority? Um 85%? That's pretty solidly majority, folks.

Why can I go for hours without being hungry and then a single whiff of food has me ravenous?

Why is my life run by Murphy (anything that can go wrong will) and Morton (when it rains it pours) and not by Jabez?

Off to work. Sunday is my long day.
