Lazy weekend.
Feb. 29th, 2004 11:13 amSo today i have to do something about that turkey carcass. Definitely Mexican turkey.
Mudd is busily making a music vid to John Lennon's "Imagine." I really don't like the song, but I think the vid will be supercool. He's using footage from 1984
I think I may have found a home for that Emperor Skywalker story that is languishing on my hard-drive. I think I'll leave Han blind tho'. Sian, who des Con*Strict is doing a Jedi and Sith zine. I asked how a Sith Lord Luke would sit.
Off to work at 1 PM today. Sunday is my long day: 9.5 hours (and no official meal break)
I finished a deliberate badfic for the AAA Fuh-q Fest. I've written 7 stories for it. Starwatching, Skywalking and Going Solo violates almost all the Elmore Leonard rules, contains adverb abuse, Mpreg, Mary Sue and gratuitous epithetism (5 different ones in the sex scene alone). Oh and a sex scene that's very close to "he put his sex in her sex and they had sex!"
At least i didn't use the line "Prepare to be boarded" during the sex scene. I reserved that for actual pirates. (Ebert's rule #27: any non-period movie that requires pirates to make conflict is by definition bad)
( my to do list, fannish )
My to do list, non fannish:
acquire money for cons.
