OK, I'm suffering from Edgar Rice Burroughs damage. I know this. I haven't read the books in years, yet the thought was automatic.

200 tals = 1 xat
50 xats = 1 zode
10 zodes = 1 padan (day)
67 padans = 1 teean (month)
10 teeans = 1 ord (year)

The day on Mars is about 40 minutes longer than an Earth day, but the year is twice as long.


In other news, I've gotten out of the house 2 mornings running without shouting at anyone. That's some kind of record. Or the zoloft is kicking in nicely.

Tuesday

Work, turkey tetrazinni and a Kid-swap. I got Fairy for the evening and sent Obi off to play with Bradlikin. Found pictures for Bunny's school video.

Some cleaning here and there. I have a hearth.

I watched 2 sentinel eps. Oh man. They are so married.
And i started the Valentine afghan for a raffle.

Luke talked to me at lunch, so i added to the algetic enlightenment fic a bit.
Including why he likes having his genitals bound off from the rest of his body. Interesting.

Also had an idea for a video: "What I did for Love" from A Chorus Line. A multifandom sacrifice video. Avram being purified by fire. Spike immolating. Luke under the lightening. Flash Gordon going to his execution. Star Trek 2. Jim & Blair, maybe.
It's going to be some powerful imagery if I can get it together.
