tzikeh interviews me
Jun. 17th, 2003 05:26 pm1) Have you ever been converted to watching and loving a show you
originally disliked?
No. I have been wooed back to shows I started liking but drifted away from, "Babylon 5" being the prime example. (hard to follow on a weekly basis while on anti-psychotics)
2) Does Phantom Menace stand alone as an enjoyable film, or is it only
tolerable because it's Star Wars canon?
I find it tolerable on its own. It's dull, overdone, and muddy. The best part is the pod race, during which I fully expected Sebulba to pull a whip, a la Ben Hur. My kids, otoh, think it's cool. As SW canon, it has all the charm of a CGI trainwreck, and none of the excitement.
3) Are you out about fandom to your non-fannish friends and family?
Pretty much. Mom doesn't know I write slaash, but she knows I'm a fan. My father blames himself.
4) If you had to move to a different state but get a better home/apartment, or stay in the same state but move to a lesser home/apartment, which would you do?
::leaves questioner behind in a cloud of U-haul dust::
Seriously, I refer to myself as a midwesterner in southern exile. The only reason I'm here is because my husband has certification to work.
5) Who's Da Man?
Yoda Man!

Clean up a bit
get puffy for A done

Not on list, but done: cook chicken for tomorrow.
