So i get up at 9 AM (rare on a Sat) because Bunny has a cookie booth.
My guts are in turmoil from last night's chili supper.

We go to the proper place at the appointed time. No one is there. Can I just say HOW MUCH I FUCKING HATE THAT SORT OF SHIT! People have been doing shit like that to me my whole fucking life. And I am sick and tired of being stood up and laughed at!

So we check the other possible locations. Several cookie booths, none ours.

We come home. Bunny makes cocoa. Except that she doesn't check which burner she turned on and melts the bottom of a 3 lb bucket of PB. So my house is full of smoke from burned plastic and peanut butter. Least the thing was nearly empty.

And the rotten kid walks into a wall, knocking our David replica off and breaking him. One of these days she'll get all that gangling under control. And David will be fine with some superglue. (He's a replica of the statue on the arch of Notre Dame, and he broke cleanly in half.)

And i had an interesting idea for a video while on the head (which is where I've spent a good portion of the morning. Stupid Chili Supper.)

It's such fun to have someone in the family who speaks Fan, Slash and Academic Slash.
while the kids are at my dad's over MWC, she's going to bring her cousin's kids in and they'll be her unholy army for conquest of the city!
I say more power to them.

We discussed the idea my dad still thinks he'll be either John wayne or Harrison Ford when he grows up, and both of us are glad there's no Calista type in the picture. 'Cause, y'know, Squick on Dad dating someone younger than me. Karen has been around since the 70's and we both like her. She used to make me Barbie clothes and let me play with her hair.

People always find it interesting that we both read and write slash. We're just in different fandoms, with some crossover. She's pimped SV and Sentinel for me, and I converted her to the slashy side of the Force. She liked Q/O, but had the same Han/Luke issues I had. She said Elusive Lover:Alternate Visions was comfort slash while she was sick this winter.

Now I must find copies of the Lambchop & Beefstick zine and the story BJ, in which Blair spends a year as a woman.
