Writing, writing
Jan. 4th, 2003 10:46 amSo.
Looks like some serious writing in my future.
Got more ideas on the Spock/McCoy roman AU, including not one but two, count 'em two, conflicts. Julia (Leonardo's wife) is thrilled he's brought home the Satyr, and wants a serious go at him. And Tiberius, a local Praetor, inds the healer's new slave most intriguing too...
Um, Spock is Half Tuatha de Danu in this, would it count for the bad elf challenge? (I had to explain the ears SOMEHOW)
Then I got a huge plot bunny that involves Leia and Winter going undercover as exotic dancers to get classified Imperial information.
That should be fun. But I need a better handle on Winter's personality before I write.
And Eumenides on Coruscant. Poor mixed-up Luke. He's awakened to a world where Leia is the Empress, and wants him. She's seducing him both physically and in the Force. But She's also sleeping with his father. When she sends him, well-converted to the darkness and firmly hers, to rescue her lost lover from the Hutt, his own attractions get in the way mixing with his rivalry in a fashion most unpleasant.
So, we have:
1) Leia doing all three men and ruling the galaxy as their Dark Lady.
2)Luke fighting his Oedipal instincts and his filial duty, his same-sex attraction (Han does not reciprocate in this universe) and his jealousy.
3) Han, blind, helpless, alone and in the hands of old friends much changed.
4) Vader trying to keep this unruly lot under control, and still control himself. His own jealousy is getting the better of his small paternal instinct (Luke) and his self-control and pride (Han).
This is going to be an ugly one.
And now I want to write a whole story for the Simon & Simon elf snippet.
Not to mention editing, editing, editing, which is my lot this weekend.
And 2 Irish Rose Squares to crochet (in Victorian colors)
and 2 cross-stitch squares for an Exchange.
AUGH!. Over committed all ready.
