A day for Erma

5:30. Alarm goes off. Stagger to bathroom. Tub plugged. Scorch hand on leaky faucet's hot water as I pull plug.

5:40. Out of shower. To dryer for pants and shirt. Can't find bra. Half-dressed, make PB&J and pour blue kool-aid into thermoses.

5:55. Go back to bed.

6:10 Get up with hubby. Wake kids, dress kids. Oldest, in throes of adolescence has greasy hair despite shower yesterday.

6:20 pour bowl of grapenuts

6:21 remove cat from grapenuts

6:22 shoe kids

6:22:30 remove cat from grapenuts

6:23 eat grapenuts

6:24 feed grapenuts to child doing baby bird impression

6:30 find out about school pictures.

6:32 write checks for school pictures

6:35 wash Oldest's hair

6:40 blow dry hair

6:45 cut Oldest's bangs

6:50 console Oldest by telling her no one can tell I did it with pinking shears

6:55 round up my stuff for the day.

7:00 Toddler has to potty

7:05 leave for day care

7:12 get gas

7:45 get to work

8:00 call from school re: field trip permission slips. The kids lost theirs so I wrote originals. Missed call as was putting newspapers on reading sticks.

8:05 school tries again. Too slow to catch phone.

8:07 Google up phone #, call school.

10:21 allergy attack.

10:22 call plumber re: hot water.

I also have a chiropractor appointment tonight. We're trying to get my S-curved neck back into a normal C-curve. He took one look at the x-ray and asked "when were you in the car accident?"

I found this gem when I was surfing. It's sort of a parody on how
so many fen read so much into the smallest things.
(All the cantina patrons are male, except the two women who are practically snuggling, ergo it's a gay bar)

It's also a trope on coding. I found it very funny.
Warning, it is explicit, and does discuss "lightsaber as phallic imagry."
