We got a new washer this weekend. It was delivered today. I can't wait to try it out.
Sheesh, I sound like a commercial. I've owned 3 other washers, all used.

The Maytag was murder. Maytags are about 50% heavier than other washers, and almost impossible to repair. We traded it for a Whirlpool when it died. I nearly broke my arm moving it. I had very colorful bruises for a couple weeks.

This one is a GE Super Capacity. No more trips to the laundromat. No more double-foot agitation method in the bathtub.

Jon went back to the ENT. Everything looks all right, but we're keeping an eye on him anyway. Little stinker was trying to anticipate the beeps on the hearing test. Dollface had her lead screening. Hubby said she didn't make a peep when they stuck her. She spent the evening being called a "big brave girl." She did point to her bandaid and say "owie."

Should be getting my revisions from The Slash Reader this week. Oct 1 deadline. Ack, ack, ack!

The boys keep pinning me down and making me write on this one story, 2-3 pages at a go. I'm not complaining, they just forget I am but mortal and require food and sleep.

Printed the interview with Nicole in the KC Star. Good cheesecake recipe.

Tonight: I finish with the Girls' cookbook, and get hubby to format and index it.
I'll type in a few more recipes, and do up a menu section.
