Religious demographics in the US
May. 27th, 2014 11:06 amPosting this here for reference.
About 70-75% of Americans claim to be Christian of some stripe. (Includes Mormon and Jehovah's Witnesses) This is down from 90% in 1990.
About 1.2% are Jewish,
another 1.2% are "New Religious Movement and Other".
0.6 are Muslim and the same are Buddhist.
0.4 are other Eastern faiths.
About 15% are atheist, agnostic and apathetic.
+/-5% margin of error.
Now, please remind me how Christians are an Endangered Minority and Muslims will be taking over any day now.
