Disenfranchisement, take two

Back in 2012, I posted this list:

I can still vote, despite what Ann Coulter, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Rush Limbaugh, John Derbyshire and Janis Lane (of the Mississippi Tea Party) think.

Now we can add another voice: David Barton, noted revisionist history writer.

This idea is starting to get traction.
It will bear watching in the next decade as they try to destroy the gains of a century past.

Because women tend to skew more liberal. Rather than trying to broaden their ideas to appeal to people other than white males, they're trying to restrict the franchise to white males as much as they can. I think it's despicable (despite the fact that I'm a white male).

Also, thank you for referring to David Barton as a "history writer." He is not a historian, despite what he may say about himself.

I tried "historian" but it didn't work, so I went with Revisionist History Writer, putting him on the same level with people who write Age-of-Sail Pirate Romances set in the Civil War.

Progress was being made in the 1970's on all fronts. Then the Reagan years came and now we're at the point where banning birth control and disenfranchising voters who aren't *Christian white males is chugging along nicely.
*I suspect this is in the works.

I hate these people.

You'd think, 30 years AFTER Reagan, we'd be past that. Unfortunately. too many boys of my generation grew into the exact men who are pushing this stuff, along with the boomers who see their last chance at making their mark.
