valarltdSo, hubby's Neon developed some problems. OK, lots of little problems and one "put-a-bullet-in-the-crankcase" one.
And it came on sudden. So yesterday afternoon, we bought a new car. Not just new to us, but funklenagelnau (I love that cool word), 12 miles on the odometer. It's a beigy-gold 2003 Ford Focus.
The deals on new cars were almost as good as the prices on used, so it was no big deal. Next time, I'm going to pay $15, get a membership in the American Quarter Horse association, and get a $500 discount.
Right now, we're shopping for a good price on a new minivan.
(I've got a broken locking solenoid on my passenger door, non working air, need new bakes and the hatch doesn't open from the outside)
Mine has a trade-in of about $1500.
We've never owned a new car. This is a big first.
Very uncomfortable with the idea.
