At Loose ends

I find myself casting about for something to write. Some people, the muses included, say I need a break, that I've been working them and myself too hard. Nonsense. If I were working to where I want to be, I would have 244,000 words written this year, instead of a mere 157,133, and a fair chunk of that with a partner.

I've co-written a novel and a short, written 3 short stories and 1 novella. And that's IT for accomplishment.

Gonna (naturally) vote for the Cyberpunk, especially as you (should) know exactly where it is going next, being as how it has a story outline (which you say you loved) already drafted and just waiting to go.

Also agree on you taking some time off and away from writing for a while though. I was pushing for that months ago. You can only tap a wellspring just so long before you risk draining it. Give it (and yourself) some time to replenish.

You're cute. You still think characters will trot along neatly into preplanned story lines...

And when you and Gabriel agree on ANYTHING, I know it's time to shut up and listen. So, we are off writing for a while. I'm deliberately not writing, because that tends to make me want to.
