Allergies suck.
Having an allergy attack while making passionate love sucks beyond the telling of it.


TCM is having a Ray Harryhausen marathon. I am still in love with Sinbad. John Phillip Law (sans Barbarella wings, but with beard) can make me his harem girl any day... (And up against Tom Baker. And Patrick Traughton was in Eye of the Toger Dr. Who AU!)

Tonight: Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans.

$124 worth of groceries. I went insane and bought a whole brisket. It's as long as my arm! Also got a huge watermelon for Fri. We always have watermelon on the 4th. For the first time in years, we'll have grilled burgers too. (got a new grill) Turkey tomorrow if it's thawed. or maybe I'll just do BBQ briskit in the crockpot.

Need to find a reel mower. I can't stand power mowers. They scare the hell out of me. Have since I was a kid and shared a hospital room with a little girl who'd gotten run over by a mower. I can't remember her face or name, just the look of the casts on her legs and the missing toes. Ever since I've had horrors about mowers. I only started allowing Bunny out when I mowed in the last year. But living in Suburbia carries responsibilities, and I must mow the lawn. (Hubby has bad hay-fever, and mowing requires 2 benedryl, which knock him on his butt for a day and night)

The chocolate caramel creme savers are better in the soft. The hard kind taste a bit burnt.

Can't seem to write much. Need to ink the pic for Irene so I can scan it on Mon.

We have a reel mower, I got it at Home Depot last year and it was less than a hundred dollars (possibly a lot less, I can't recall). I've never used a power mower, a girl down the street lost a finger to one when I was a kid and from then on nobody's mothers allowed them to mow!

Reel Mowers run about $80, which is having the neighbor kid over to mow 4 times.

I found a few here in town, and will have to get one this week.
