A week from hell
Sep. 16th, 2012 10:29 pmIt's been a rough week here at Chez Mudd. You may have noticed a lack of posting.
There were two nights when I talked people through dinner prep over the phone as I was driving home, having been away from 1 AM to 6 PM. I skipped dinner and tumbled straight into bed that night.
Work was no worse tha usual. I've started going to bed much earlier: 6-7 PM because that gives me 6-7, maybe even 8 hours of sleep. But it surely cuts into my off-work time.
The changing weather has my hands all achy. Doesn't help that the one I slammed into the fire-extinguisher at Furmeet, when i fell, still hurts.
I spent all my writing time in waiting rooms, with other people.
On the plus side, I am going to be in a cookbook, I had an anthology come out and my first, full-length het novel comes out a week from this Friday.
I got some cleaning done and both my toilets work again. (two trips to Home Depot!) There were gaskets to be replaced and suchlike. Also, have to make a return run to WalMart and Home Depot and get refunds for stuff we didn't need.
I'm planning for a craft fair on Oct 2. That should be fun.
