Monday blahs

valarltdThe earthquake last week knocked our light fixture off the ceiling fan (which despite my butchest repairs will only give us fan or light, not both). The metal casing is bent (so it doesn't stay up), the wires are too short. Forget it. I'm going to get a new one. One that will stay where it belongs and not crash to the floor when my husband bumps it.
Even we repair-dykes aren't much good without light.
The storm wasn't too bad where we were. The Forest City cell blew itself out, and the Wynn cell (which actually produced a tornado) went north. The folks are OK too. Hadda call as Mom's hubby works very near where a tornado hit.
Vader's drafted and half finished.
My roses are trellised up. Joseph's Coat roses are so gorgeous. they start yellow, with red edged petals, bloom into a peachier shade, then fade into white with pink edges.
My Promise roses aren't doing so well.
It was a fairly productive weekend.
I even got some writing done.
Now i have to go find "Constricted by Plot" for the reading room.
