IOW, the entire last half gets a rewrite. And my brain is toast. So, let's have a photo-heavy post instead of something with content.
Sean Patrick O'Neill is a street-rat, a fixer. He does random courier work, once managed a Sino-Celtic punk girl-band, has his usual streetcorner where he vends odd computer parts (working or not), energy drinks (mostly legal) and good luck talismans, which work as hard as the buyer. He's nominally Catholic, but doesn't believe in much of anything except money, his brother Niall and Tara. He fell for Tara when he did some courier work for her. His chosen net avatar is a Roman warrior called Octavius. He has a little education, not enough to be hired by a megacorp for real work.
Tara McLean is the premier netrunner called Irishgirl. She is smarter than Sean. She had quite the reputation before she vanished two years before. Deeply catholic, she is a bit of a rarity, a virgin past the age of 20. Something of a prude, she was shocked by Zara and her idea of entertainment. Although relatively wealthy, she prefers to live in slums, where people ask fewer questions. When Sean inserted himself into her life, she approached him warily, and then fell hard.
This young couple is in the pay of LedaCorp, owned by David and Ariel benEzra, identical Israeli twins who go by Gemini, whose avatar is a desert raider. Most people believe there is only Ariel. David is a closely guarded secret. Ariel made his first million by pimping out his brother. David is one of the top netrunners in the world, while Ariel is CEO of Leda. Although Orthodox Jewish in their youth, they now observe some of the rituals (a mazuzah, prayers) without much belief behind them. David is married to Zara Broine, minor billionaire heiress and netrunner. Ariel is seeing Niall O'Neill, rescued netrunner, while being desperately infatuated with Tara.
The Gemini are both seeing Zara Broine, the Technomancer. She is a minor billionairess, a thrill-runner who doesn't steal for profit but to proliferate knowledge or give her company an edge. She runs as a sorceress in a faux-medieval net. Utterly ruthless, it was she who put Erik Ezekiel into a wheelchair when they were much younger. A member of the Church of Christ, Programmer, she has several enhancements, including metal fingernails and a cerebrophone. She dominates David very thoroughly, to his delight, and Ariel in turn dominates her, keeping her sane.
Zara's twin brother, Zaran, is CEO of Broine Enterprises, with an interesting and unpleasant sideline. He trains slaves for wealthy men. While slavery is officially illegal, many powerful men will pay well for a pleasure slave, made to order. He lives in the Broine Arcology and never leaves his heavily fortified apartments, preferring his insulated male-dominant fantasy to the real world. He was once obsessed with Tara and now wants his sister back. On the rare occasions he runs, his avatar is a black armored medieval warrior called Lord D'Arque.
Sean's brother, Niall, is the runner called Timberwolf. He hunts his data-prey through endless forests of the net, until the day he got caught by the Wheelman. Given a choice of becoming an Immortal, one of the quadruple amputees who spend their whole lives in the net, or sharing the Wheelman's bed, Niall opted for the latter. Like most of Erik's bedwarmers, he was strongly considering suicide by the time Gemini and Technomancer rescued him. He expresses his gratitude to Gemini often, enjoying his position as beta-wolf in the household. He cannot live in the penthouse, though. As a Neo-Augustinian,living in the same home as a woman imperils his very soul.

They deal in lethal types of knowledge, an extension of Erik's sadistic personality. His Immortals are a by-word among runners. He believes if he succeeds, he will be remembered with Turing, Gates and Gore. In his younger days, he tangled with the Technomancer. She managed to flatline him, frying his nervous system through his jack. He has never recovered the use of his legs.
