I first encountered the Gentleman from Virginia when I was at scout camp in 1977. I borrowed the first book and was transported. I've read all 11 repeatedly over the years. Now, we get a movie!

Been a fan for a long time.

I pondered over this report for some time, finally asking, "What might a sorak be, Sola?"

I must rank pretty low in the consideration of Dejah Thoris, I thought; but I could not help laughing at the strange figure of speech, so homely and in this respect so earthly.
