valarltdSo, I have this little story coming out in June called "Songs for Guitar and French Harp."
It's anthros, in an anthology called WILD PASSIONS from Storm Moon Press. My bear and lion fall in love in 1936. Daddy Frank sees the Nazi war coming, and warns them about it in the story.
Today, while driving, I had an image of Gordon and Arthur being taken off an army truck and herded into a holding pen with lots of other constructs. They were kind of clinging to each other amid the jostling. They had been "requisitioned" from Daddy Frank, Arthur's stepdad and their nominal owner, for the War Effort, as had every other construct in the country.

It's about Nazi experiments in teaching dogs to talk...
*headdesk* This is going novel length, I can just see it. And I didn't need another novel project being hip deep in three at the moment.
I think I need to write faster.
