The native stone church just up the road probably boasted more bodies in the graveyard than the pew. He obeyed his tingling sense and parked. A stake in one hand, he pushed the door of the church open. Bodies in the pews, indeed. He stared at the two dozen folks in Wednesday Evening Church clothes, and the utter lack of blood on the scene, save for one place. “1 Cor. 15: 20-22” dripped across one white wall.
