Sounds like fun, but I'm wondering how many people will be attending, considering the current economy. I'd love to go, but I've pretty much promised myself to only attend conferences I can drive to. :(

I was just thinking on this retreat, but the cost is just terribly prohibitive for me. It's only a day's drive from me, but... wow. The hotel stay is just killer. Maybe next year for us. ^_^

You and the husband, me and Naomi, we split it 4 ways, and it comes to $112.50/person

I mean, we don't have to play sleeping-bag tetris like we do to afford DragonCon, but a couple extra folks would make it more affordable.

Do you think five people would fit in a hotel room? We have a nice small air mattress we could bring along, as it would be three of us. The husband, the co-author, and me. The co-author is tiny. We could stick her on the floor... :) Split the cost 5-ways. Would that work?

I'm cool with it. Naomi is the wild card. Depends on whether she can get on a bus and come down.

I do require access to a wall-socket. I sleep with a CPAP machine.
