Trying to write an interview in they style of a Victorian newspaper. Any help from literary fanatics or steampunkers, links and such, would be appreciated.

Well the way it works out in my mind is simply imagining you're sitting there in Victorian times talking to someone and taking notes.

Think of it like overlaying say a Dickens blanket on everything. Start with changing the clothing in your mind. Then the background. Then the hair styles. Then any makeup.

Once that's done slow down the speech. Make it more formal. Choose slightly longer words for upper-crust people and shorter gutterals for lower-class people.

Finally research actual articles for the flow of speech from that era. There are actually quite a few websites out there that can give you some ideas. This one for example:
