State of the Sooky

Work: Hot. Only gonna get hotter. The Governor's wife showed up on Mudd's campus so there was a scramble to find a flag to fly. They found one. Until Mudd pointed out it had 48 stars.

Writing: Cookbook formats out to 302 pages. *headdesk* And I need to start using it again. There are a lot of good ones. Also? I found my great grandmother's sugar cookie recipe online! I had missed it so. 
Words that really shouldn't go together: "I am writing something that resembles an anthropomorphic Star Wars/Persian Boy/UC: Undercover/Queer as Folk crossover as original fic. I blame Merle Haggard."  (there are two people who really understand that statement besides me)

Kids: Obi settled for Band Camp, thanks to Grandpa, got his horn checked out from school as well. Oli finished her last day at school. Good report cards on Jonner and Oli. Jonner saw one of his first As ever in spelling this year.

Flying: Swish and swipe, shower, made bed (baby steps)

Body: I had an embarassing but delicious moment. I was walking to the door with my hands full and I felt them sliding. Not just my jeans but my underwear too. I stopped but gravity was too strong. I flashed the whole neighborhood a half-moon. as the right side of my pants dipped below my hip. My underwear is literally falling off of me. YAY!

Scent of the day: Whitechapel: A gentlemen's blend, possessed of dignity, charm and refinement, but in truth masking a corrupted, hideous, soulless core. White musk, lime, lilac and citron. The lime and musk come out in the late phases.

Card of the Day: Six of cups. Simple goodness. Be loving, kind and forgiving.
