Gorram workmen have been here since 10 AM installing the new furnace. They aren't done. It's still V. cold and I can't take another night of sleeping on the floor. My hips are NOT what they used to be. We stayed warm enough with just a little space heater and all of us in one room.

On the up side:
snuggled with my schmoopy and watched Life as a House.
Teary-jerking chick flick.

Hayden is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, esp with eye-makeup.
He's got about two moods: sullen and evil. I'm not sold that he's a very good actor.

But his delivery of "We're only talking about six inches, aren't we?" was PERFECT! Arch, knowing and EVIL.

Kristen Scott Thomas is not pretty. She's sort of plain, but very good.

And Kevin Kline was fabulous.

Jamey Sheridan was just sort of there, but that's exactly what the role called for.

This is a movie very much like The Englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain. It's a Project Movie. So if construction work is not your thing, there's a LOT of it in here.

Got revisions to the first half of Hunter in the Shadows done before my fingers froze. Midichlorians still giving me trouble. Must go re-read beta suggestions and work from there.

Hope I don't have to call out tomorrow. But we've got to get it warm in here so I can delouse the Littles. And Obi-Chris somehow got glue in his hair, and needs it washed.

I stink. Ewww. Too cold to shower.

Rats, home all day with an amative husband, and too cold to get naked. No privacy either.
