(Memphis 11/11/2009) A Memphis Police officer received a minor injury while confronting two men outside of the Gay and Lesbian Community Center in Midtown.
Police say, "One of the males was observed to set a fire to the rope on the flag pole in front of the business."
Officers say when they approached the suspects, the men began fighting with the officers and attempted to disarm an officer.
Both men ran, one was later arrested.
We're told the officers received, "abrasions and lacerations."
In the comments, someone suggests burning down the whole community center.
Wanna bet our suspect, age 23, is a good Baptist boy?
