For those who don't know, I am terrified of water. I can handle small bodies, as long as it's not over my head.
Part of it has to do with the fact that I can't swim. Bad ears. I get water in them and I die. I came very close to death at the age of 14 from mastoiditis that was caused by water in my ears.
Part of it is that my uncle tried drowning me. In fairness, he is mentally handicapped and possibly didn't realize that shoving me under the water and putting an airmattress atop me to hold me under would kill me. (still processing that prejudice against the mentally handicapped)
But the idea of being in a sinking ship terrifies me. Worse, I got last lifejacket and there were none for my kids or my mom. Don't go there, Dream-fairy or it's sominex, your equivalent of Raid.
