editing hell. This is from the Saturday Night Live sketch with Blue Oyster Cult and Christopher Walken. I call it editing hell because I have an editor who, instead of demanding "more cowbell," demands "more frank sex!" And while I may think there is already too much ~~cowbell~~ sex in a piece, she wants more and more.

tongue This is my all purpose lust icon. SOmeone posts a pretty picture of a sexy person and I break this out because it sums up my feelings entirely.

medical
My family has a lot of medical issues. I use this photo of a Civil War era medical kit when I talk about them. I chose the picture to remind myself things could always be worse.

holiday
Some years back, I wrote a story about gay Christmas werewolves. It grew into a series. And David Krumholz somehow or other bcame the face I used for one of the wolves. I use this icon as a default in December.

intrigue
The picture is John Glover as Lionel Luthor. The character is a notorious schemer. The quote is from the musical, PIPPIN. And I use this for when I am up to something or stuck for a plot point.

halloween
This is my October default. It's just a graveyard with lightening. I love it.
