The van is mostly loaded. A couple more batches of laundry and I think we'll sleep in our clothes. We leave tomorrow morning!
My own bed! My own house! My own husband!
It's been a good visit. But I'm ready to go home. I'm tired of having restless nights and weird dreams. I dreamed about bumping into Cara and Irene in a Wal-Mart supercenter. They were grocery shopping and Irene was explaining (in Spanish for some reason) exactly what was what in the veggie section. I dreamed about Darren one night. Don't remember much about that one.
Tonight I went to Savers (a thrift store) and spent $20. I got:
2 pr. pants, 3 blouses (one persimmon, one brown, one teal), 1 turquoise sweater, a red raw-silk dress (tags still on), a winter coat (tweed) and a Dillards sports coat for my husband and a pair of yellow sneakers for my oldest daughter. I think I did pretty well.
(I also got two bags of Christmas Nougat at Hobby Lobby. I crave the stuff)
So, we're off. I'll be posting smut soon. Also some genfic.
Do you realize, that Star Wars can be a rewrite of The Three Little Pigs? Dantooine, Alderaan and Yavin 4 instead of straw, sticks and brick. gotta love it.
Am converting younger sister to slashy side of the Force. She got an Elusive Lover:Alternate Visions for Christmas. She was tickled. "Not just any Elusive Lover. The BEST Elusive Lover."
