I'm cheating every which way.

I get a B&W copy of a picture, then turn it upside down and draw what I see that way.

I'm afraid my brain, just as myself, is a left-winger. ^__^ I never managed anything decent with those techniques.

Copying B&W pictures, on the other hand, is my main form of cheating.

Your Han is definitely improving. He seems easier to draw for some reason - at least to capture the essence of his personality and character. Luke is much more difficult I think. I like to think it's the difference in the character complexity - Han is straightforward and Luke very diffuse and layered - and I think that shines through when the actors are in character.
