yep, THAT sort of day

Everything went fine until Newport

Then the liftgate quit working.Dispatch had me look and sure enough,I could fix it...sorta.

I spent half an hour under a trailer, stripping a ground wire with a pocket-knife in order to get my lift-gate working again.

Got it, and moved the rest of the freight to the side door (there was little left)

97 degrees. 70% humidity, on asphalt. I think I melted.

Well, you did it! I kind of wish I had done a similar job when I was younger and stronger. I *did* do drywall for a couple years, though.

I thought you always carried an old blanket with you, just in case.
Take a lot of the discomfort out of the hot asphalt & rocks.

I don't but I think I will start.

It was mostly my knees that got bruised, getting up and down.
