Poor kiddos

Dollface had a lump on the side of her neck last night. This morning the whole side of her face was swollen. Mudd took her to the dr. She has a lymph node infection. Poor baby has huge old horse pills to swallow. It takes about a pint of water to get them down, and then she's all lethargic as her little body tries to process that much medicine.

Because I was home this evening with a sick Dollface, I missed Bunny marching in the Christmas parade. I did get the kids marshalled to clear up the dishes and front room.
We watched "Rudolph's Shiny New year" and The Nightmare Before Christmas



1284/3000 on current writing.
Then a quick finish to "Talk like a Pirate Day," and I've met all my deadlines.

This year: 14 published pieces. (one left to come out)
I have 5 contracted for next year.
And only one out for consideration at the moment. I'm slacking.

She's responding well to antibiotics. But we still have to keep an eye on her.
