So Bun got her costume today. Obi wants to be a Ninja, Jonner wants to be a ginger cat, and Dollface wants to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

But the real scariness is under the cut. Obi took the pics

My goodness. Bun is quite an attractive girl. I assume the costume is a vampiress/mistress of the night/spider queen concept, but it looks like it has the potential to step over into Gothic Lolita territory. Bun definitely looks like she has the grace to pull it off.

Also, I realize that it's just an accidental artifact of the camera angle, but the image in the mirror looks like a different person than Bun. The hair is platinum blonde rather than her honey-gold and the lipstick looks darker. Cool effect. :-)

It's called Black Widow, and she's essentially a dumped bride-gone-bad. I steamed out the veil this morning. And very graceful, dance lessons helped a lot

The mirror effect is VERY cool, but the mirror is a just a mirror. $3 on a yard sale years ago. Obi may have a future in photography.

We call oldest son "Obi-Wan Chrisobi."
The kids are Victoria, Christopher, Jonathan and Olivia.
Or Bunny, Obi, Jonner and Dollface

Okay! Whew! So how did the nicknames happen?

Bunny: she got that because her birthday always falls right around Easter.

Obi: He was hooked on Star Wars, Episode 1. He wanted to be a Jedi so bad, and esp. Obi Wan. He started kindergarten with a padawan braid.

Jonner: Just something I started calling him. He likes it. It means he's more Jon than the other Jons.

Dollface: as a toddler looked just like a porcelain doll my mother had made.
