The annual "WTF was I thinking" post

Signed up for [livejournal.com profile] yuletide, like the other 400 people so far.

Made my 4 requests:
Bloom County
Brimstone (Any Zeke/Devil is good Zeke/Devil)
Sleeper Cell
Ladyhawke

Put in to write in 109...
*headdesk*
Sims 2 fanfic? *boggles* I'm SOOOOO on that one!

My hat's off to you. 109 is fucking impressive. I only offered 6, because if I don't know something cold I don't want to make myself insane and bitter through the holidays...(plus I'm running my own secret santa exchange...I need to conserve my batteries).

Not the 119 of last year, but I figure I can fake almost anything.

And you, you're busy, so 6 is understandable.

Yeah, I just hope I can get matched...so far only one of my offers has any requests (gosh do I like the new stats on that page). I may wait until Wednesday and see if I need to suck it up and offer any more, just to be on the safe side...

I only signed up for canons that I actually own (or want an excuse to buy) because I have weird issues about paying for things that I write fanfic on. That limited me to fifteen, but hopefully they can place me.

I asked for "As Time Goes By," "I Spy," " "Manchild" and "The Thin Man." Two British comedies and two overly chatty spy/detective couples.

*bounces* I love [livejournal.com profile] yuletide!

I went with anything I thought I could write. Doesn't matter if I have them or not. I can get them.

And if I get The Persian Boy I'll finally finish reading it and I have a beta lined up...
