Escape from Indiana

When you're going through Hell, keep on going.

Told myself that a dozen times yesterday.

I got out of my supplier's, a bad left turn across 4 busy lanes. Then I get most of the way out of town and find the road is barricaded at the railroad tracks. I turned in a Maytag dealership's lot (best option) and went the other way.

Business 20 takes one right to Notre Dame University.

So I make the Toll road, and all is smooth sailing for about 40 miles.
Then the traffic stops dead.

A truck driver has been charged with four counts of reckless homicide in a chain-reaction crash on the Indiana Toll Road.

Four people—including an Ohio man—were killed and seven were injured in the crash involving five cars and a semitrailer yesterday near Bristol, Indiana, about 25 miles east of South Bend.

Wrong accident. i couldn't find the Monday accident report

I wound up in traffic for an hour, at a rest haven for an hour and then taking I94 into Gary. Everyone got rerouted to I 94

The rest was pretty uneventful
But I felt like I was playing Escape from New York Indiana.

Oy! Glad you finally made it out. There's something about Indiana that they like to trap you there. I think it's the only way they can get people. :)

How's other things? Bun doing better?

I've been worried about you, hon. I hope all is getting better.
