Ouch

Am beginning to suspect a corset is the best diet aid ever.

My lunch was 1 meatball, 6 grapes, 1 strawberry, a slice of roast beef and a cookie, and a Hawaiian punch.
I'm not only still full, I'm nauseated.

Also, dancing the male part of the Official Bransle (Toss the Duchess, Fling-a-Wench) in a corset--with bronchitis--will lead to greying out. My corset is a lovely thing when I'm sitting on a hard bench. When I sink into my car seat, it digs into my arms.

And I must start taking short rests before work more often. Amazing how much better lying down for 20 minutes made me feel.

Bunny tried on her dress for the dance tomorrow. I need to move a hook-eye and make a satin sash. She's absolutely beautiful in it.

Media West Update!
They are taking vids on DVD this year!
And they okayed my "very adult with hints of slash" vid. It's going last in the Mature category.

I've always thought corsets looked so pretty, but I've never been able to bring myself to actually buy one- I keep thinking about how uncomfortable they would be! I'm all for comfort over fashion.

By the way, hi! thought I'd introduce myself since you just added me, I'm Miro and I live in Japan, and I'm a bit crazy... uh... yes :)

Hi.

I found you by way of a Han/Luke interest search.

My corset is actually a tightly boned bodice on a historical dress. I do medieval re-enactment. We had an educational demonstration for a bunch of 6th graders today.

Corsets are wonderful things indeed; mine is a steel boned solid-busk custom in white tapestry. Beautiful piece of work, done for me as a Victorian underbust by a lovely lady in the Toronto area of Canada.

Corset + Bronchitis... that's a bad one. It's a combination that landed me in a hospital bed several years back; I greyed out at the top of a staircase. :/ Just be careful, okie? You seem like a nice person, and I'd rather folks didn't hurt themselves... particularly the ones I like. :p

*hugs*

It's an Elizabethan bodice (http://www.livejournal.com/users/valarltd/428434.html#cutid1), and I was only in it for about 4 hours today. I probably won't wear it again before September or October.

It's getting into chiton weather instead of Tudor weather.
