Rounding up the month
I volunteered to face-paint at the school carnival on Friday. it's the annual chili supper. Since Mudd is off on Fridays now, I'm free to donate a half hour to school fundraising. He can take the kids through the carnival while I paint.
Despite being looped on medicine, I went to the Parents' meeting for The Crucible. Then we measured. Oh lord. It was the First Ten Minutes of Saving Private Ryan but with tape measures instead of bullets. The boys had no waists. I swear I tickled every one of them hunting for waists.
I'm back at work today, but still only about 65%. We're registered for MidSouthCon. We haven't paid for an art-show table yet.
Must get cracking on the 1000 words and Remix.

I guarantee you, we'll be high on con-air. And being in a group. And the costumes. Yeah.
...
we're all really nice, quiet girls when we're on our own.
Really.

OTOH, I'm traveling with a video game character, Kita from Space Colony, so what do I know? I'll probably be in my good SCA garb Friday, or not, depending on my panel sched.
I swear there is something in Con Air that makes everyone smarter, funnier, louder and more fun.

...
and more daring. xD *references memories of the last time some of this group got together. We taunted a storm trooper, confused Darth Vader, and stole the stormtroopers' gun. :3*
