04. what makes you happy: dogs, campfires, bodies of water and things one does involving them, flashlights, sleep, sex, cycling, pedicures, good books, good wine, good friends, dancing, making people better.
05. what have you been listening to lately: Chris DeBurgh, Emmy Lou Harris, Mozart, Yo-Yo Ma, audiobooks (Atlas Shrugged currently)

08. interesting fact about you: I was recently named "Best [my profession]" by the readership of my city paper. I dunno if that's interesting, but it's a great brag!

07. if so, why: You tend to post about a wide variety of eclectic subjects. I like that very much.
08. interesting fact about you: I can only speak one language (English), but I have a reading knowledge of Akkadian, Sumerian, Hittite, Hurrian, French, German and Italian

10. favorite place to be: I'm usually happy where ever I am. That said, I wouldn't mind being someplace warmer...
