Fannish planning for the Year Ahead
1) Vids to Escapade
2) MidSouth Con. I'm a GoH. (wibble)
3) Beltaine at Grey Niche. It's our 20th anniversary. Well worth taking a Saturday for.
4) Media West Con. Cosplaying (must order elf ears and take advantage of the lace on sale), vids, and lots of fun. Anyone up for joining Bunny and me on a run to see SWIII? In Costume?
5) Con*Strict. I want to go. I'll see what finances and PTO look like. if not, vids and a story for the zine
6) ViVidCon: At least a couple vids. I want to go to this too. With everyone in school, I may be able to.
7) Samhain at Grey Niche.

Grey Niche is the local SCA barony. We do 3 major events a year: Beltaine around May Day. Lugh in July. Samhain around Halloween. We aso have a barony only Christmas party that was great fun this year.
The SCA is historical re-enactment of the Middle Ages. A barony is a local group that has more than 50 members. Events are get togethers where we show up in costume, fight, feast, sell our wares and compete in arts and sciences competitions. Everything from embroidery to brewing.
