Ugh

My first day off in 2 weeks and I have a cold. It snuck into my sinuses at 3 AM, leaving me gasping for air. I've managed to clear one nostril with an application of Fisherman's Friend cough lozenges.

I can't even take my tempertuare because I can't breathe through my nose for 3 minutes.

I'm going to go put sheets on the bed, lie down and take a nyquil capsule.
In that order. Because I really don't want my husband stepping on me at 4 AM as i lie face down in a pile of unfinished afghans.

Oh, still taking suggestions for NaNoWriMo WIPS to finish. Or whole new story suggestions.

Trick from my allergist with sinus stuff. Afrin. Take it twice a day for three days only. It dilates the sinus so things drain out and don't get stopped up and cause an infection. If one time doesn't work, wait a week and try again.

It works. I've cut my sinus infection from 4-5 a winter to maybe 1.
