I had a great mail day.

I got my trib copy of ConStricted By Plot. Next year has an actual plot to work with instead of a theme. So, I may start early. Sian counts on me.

And I got a box from the Secret Buddy exchange on a crochet list: a trio of stuffed ghosts holding up "BOO", some Thanksgiving hotpads, and a snowman.

Now i have an idea how much to add to mine. I see much crochet work in my future.


Also, gotten into it with a Christian who feels atheists are oppressing him. Hello! You are a white male who follows a belief system that 85% of the country does. How are you feeling oppressed by 3% again?

And I hatehatehate the doctrine that humans can't do anything good without God working through them. If God wanted human sockpuppets, he'd have never made free-will. Even Jesus seemed to think humans could do good without it all being God's fault.


I watched the "Empire of Dreams" show. Cool. Carrie Fisher is very funny. "We signed our likenesses over to George, so every time I looked in the mirror I had to pay him a couple bucks." And the screen tests are great.

Bunny was home sick, so we watched RotJ, her idea. She likes the idea that "From a certain point of view" = Jedi-speak for "Lying through your teeth." Dollface got very excited about the "teddy bears!" And went on at length about how Leia was their mommy.

Quantum Leap. "The Leap Home" was so very slashy, not even the wife and Tina could staunch the hoo-yay. "Helllllll-o Bay-bee!" just slayed me.

I checked out your bbs discussion on religion. Well said. You're the only one making a reasoned and factual argument.

Good luck on the porn writing, too. How could a slash writer get through an entire month without saying "cock"?

I also noticed Cap stopped talking to me when I posted my demographic sources.

WE watched "Empire of dReams" as well. I watched just over the first half. The rest makes me depressed because it reminds me of all the hundreds of Star Wars toys I had growing up that would be worth so much money now, but we sold them at a garage sale. :P

Don't kick yourself. They aren't worth much at all. Esp if you opened the package, played with the figure, lost the gun, etc. An expensive action figure is worth maybe $5.

I can get lots of 5-10 figures on Ebay for under $20. So don't feel too guilty.
