Trooperball story: 21 pages and counting. I think it's all going to work out. I think a few more pages of TLC, Luke will get laid, a little more TLC, and I think we're going to punch out Milo Fourstar just on principle. Maybe Wedge can do that. He loves Luke too, in his way. Or maybe I'll let him help Luke get some licks in on Renegade squadron...

I have to take off a couple hours work tonight, band meeting. Bunny is playing trumpet.

Dollface is sitting beside me singing to "The Last Unicorn." Kid's got her mama's tin ear.

I learned about bukkake today. Yuck. Just...yuck. Yet... Oh man, I don't want that plot bunny.

I was also thinking. Slash in the SW'verse.

Given the amount of Vader-love that's out there, I'm really surprised there's not a LOT more Vader/Luke. Luke's defining drive is his father-need. He needs to know about his father. He needs to emulate his father (becoming a Jedi). He has an need to either have his father or become his father. This is very fertile ground for the Dark.

I can see it working on him, in him, between ESB and RotJ. The desperate need, so close to being filled on Bespin, yet now lost to him by his own choice. He would think on it, brood on it, dream about it. In canon, he conceived the dream of saving his father. What if that dream was darkened? It became one of destroying Palpatine, with his father at his side. Maybe Vader even sent the dreams.

The need for his father's love and approval twists and warps under the pressures of the dark. I can see Vader himself insinuating a sexual element into it, esp. if we go with a Virgin!Luke canon. The better to add one more element of control. Celibacy, especially unwilling celibacy powered by unrequited longing, can be a powerful force in its own right.


This could be fun.
But I'm not sure I'm ready to go there.

I think the reason there isn't more V/L out there is because by the time they get into their confrontation Vader is wrinkly, white, old and bald. Not to sexy. Regardless on if someone will admit it or not, most of the time pairing oriented stories are driven, to some degree or another, by the need for pretty. I still don't think Anakin would be that old or icky by that time, and that was poor casting/make-up (despite Shaw's acting talents). If you happen to find any Vader/Luke let me know, it's something I'd be into.

Also, everyone is too caught up on Obi/Qui-Gon =(

Turns out I'm even writing necrophiliac bukkake. I just didn't know the term.

There's a few V/L kicking around. I've written a couple. And I've written AU as you describe.

I think I read that AU. If it's the one I'm thinking, it was majorly good (duh, you wrote it) but I wanna do one where Vader an' Luke are out to kill Palpatine and use the Rebellion to do it. I can't help it, I'm a sucker for happy endings. :) KC
