I really like this. It's a lot of fun to look at other people's icon like that. Are you going to do that for everyone on your friends list?
I might steal the idea from you some day, if I ever have the time to do this.

I plan to work my way through the alphabet.

moosl, who loves me very much and takes the best pictures of me. I must admit, though, that I made him discard some other shots from that day, because they gave me too many chins for my liking. I personally prefer this icon, because it makes me look like the intrepid author of The Unnatural History of The Penis Fly Trap, or even Miss Post-Mortem's amanuensis.
