I feel like such a hypochondriac

I had the mammogram today. They couldn't find anything.

I checked while lying on the ultrasound table. I couldn't find anything.
It was there Wed! Dr. Thomas felt it. She had to, in order to refer me.

So, aside from some wasted time (I crocheted, and the heart afghan is turning out cute) I'm OK.

Not as dreadful as I'd been led to expect. At least the first one. The second, where they used the petri-dish-sized vise was pretty uncomfortable.

So, back in 4 years, when I turn 40.


Nice couple hours with my husband. Even if we did talk money woes.

The library is empty tonight.

I'm glad it turned out to be nothing. The sheep are glad too. :) Sorry you feel like a hypochondriac, but that's way better than finding out that your fears were totally justified.

Dr. figured it was that, or a hard glob of fat. I'm getting into middle-age and my boobs are not all they once were, and neither are the hormones.

She asked when my mother hit menopause, and I had to tell her I didn't know. Mom had a hysterectomy at 37.
