In honor of D-Day (a bit late)

I finished the "Birds of Prey" vid, a multi-fandom war vid, and it is now available on our site. It's the last one listed.

There's talk of a site revamp. Would people be willing to click a time or two in order to get more detailed information about a vid?
I'm thinking on the front page you can pick by fandom, then on each fandom's page, you get a picture, a description, and the download links.

Hi Angel

This revamping concept -- is this partly because of what I said? I'd be willing to do a bit more clicking, but I wonder if you'd have to set it up that way. Could you just put headers on the page, centered, above the sections for each fandom? The idea of a little picture and description sounds excellent, whether or not you break it up by fandom.

Mostly because of it.

If you're having trouble, I suspect a lot more people are as well.

The only thing is, we have a LOT of multifandom videos.

p.s. I'm downloading "Birds of Prey" right now. BTW, would you pass on feedback to Mudd for me? I could e-mail him directly but I'd rather pass it on through you if you don't mind. Tell him I *love* "Believe It or Not." I'm going to include it in a list of recs I want to post on the Luke and Han list -- I would've done it earlier today but your site seemed to be down (or at least *I* couldn't get at it), so I thought it wasn't the best time for posting recs. But I do intend to squee about the vids you showed me at MWC, because they were great and everyone should take a look. Anyway, getting back to feedback for Mudd, it's amazing how much I love that vid, because in fact I always used to hate that song. But the vid is so moving and tells the story of Han so beautifully, now I'm hooked. And that one moment -- you know the one I mean -- makes me squee and applaud. *g* I'm so glad he put that in there. Anyway, overall, it's a very fun vid to watch, and surprisingly touching.

That's a very moving vid. Watching the kids at the cemetery at the end, I found myself wondering how many of those kids would also grow up to be soldiers and get killed. I didn't recognize where most of the footage came from, except that I thought the D-Day part was from "Saving Private Ryan"? And of course there's the part from "Gone With the Wind."

Glad it worked for someone else.

The opening, with the man leaving Angela Lansbury, is from Bedknobs and Broomsticks as is the collapse of all the armor.

The D-Day segment is from The Big Red One. (Sekrit Message: I think the first guy crawling through the surf is Mark Hamill. That's Lee Marvin gesturing for his dogfaces to make the landing.)

The Vietnam section is from Forrest Gump.

And the kids at the end are from Hair, as are the men boarding the plane.

Ah! The Big Red One. I really need to watch that. And "Corvette Summer" -- thanks so much for giving me a copy.
