Bunny's first dance

Last night, Bunny got all gussied up and went to the local GLBT youth group prom.
She figured she'd be a wall flower, just standing around looking pretty.

No way. She called us about half an hour before it was over, and when Mudd and I showed up to collect her, she was dancing in a group of girls and they were getting down. Then she pulled one of the boys up for another dance. He's 14. He came to her waist. (actually about her shoulder, he hasn't gotten his height yet).

She had a great time, danced until she ached and drank too much soda.

I've turned into my grandmother: forever cutting off the tops of people's heads. At least grandma had the excuse of only being 4'10" in a house of six-footers.

It's been a long weekend

Saturday was a 10a-4p day at the library. I came home and crawled into bed until 8:45. I refused food, ice cream and sex. Dang I was tired.

I stayed up a while, chatted with jkb, tinkered here and there, and then went back to bed.

I slept until 9:30 this morning when Dollface couldn't wait any longer to give me the card she'd made. And Jonner too. Obi tackled me while I was doing laundry and gave me his. So very sweet.

Then I went to work. Still there. 2-midnight. Got bitten by a ferocious "Corvette Summer" plot bunny. Set about 10 years after the movie. It might work for Con*Stricted by Plot, if I can bring in an odd crossover angle.

Tomorrow is my last midnight night. Then I'm on days. Tues: Jonner to dr. Wed: everyone to dentist.

Still tired.
