Business: Most of my day was absorbed in this. I went to the credit union, cashed a couple of checks and pulled my bonus money.
I went to Marion's City Hall, only to be redirected to West Memphis. The lady there was out, but the cop I tangled with lat spring gave me the stink-eye from the info booth.
So, I tried lunch at Sonic. Less said the better. They wouldn't answer when I pressed the service button.
So, off to pay cable and go to the Post Office. I'll do the PO Box paperwork later in the week.
Opened my new bank account. And the clerk called me as I was leaving the Doc-in-the-box (paid them off), to tell me she had shredded my photo id photocopy by accident.
I went to the library and printed my contract for Like it or Not and my state of Arkansas tax papers. Of course the first computer I chose didn't have Adobe reader on it. Luckily, the place was pretty quiet and I could switch.
Back to city hall, got my business license. Inkstained Succubus Productions is official. Off to Wal-Mart and got my one piece of office equipment: a big purple file box.
I came home to a royalty check from Storm Moon. It may be tiny, but this means I've earned out my advance!
I failed at the mac and cheese for dinner. My noodles came out sludgy and I didn't think I'd overcooked them. Enjoying some Glee and then off to bed. I'm in that "tired and satisfied" spot.
