Naomi gives me a few sentences and turn them into paragraphs.
1700 isn't that huge. I like to do 2000. And I only worked on 2 of my 4 projects. I finished one. So tomorrow, maybe, I can get cracking on the other two as well.
I get home from work at 2:30 PM, and go to bed about 9:30. That's 7 hours to clean and cook and run errands and read and garden and write.
I'm lucky if I can get 1000 words done per session. And I've been known to take seven hours to write that 1000 words! I don't work on multiple projects at the same time, either.
But I suppose it's all relative. We work at our own pace.
Y'know...I just realized that I have LJ entries in the 600 - 900 count range that I wrote quite easily. I know it's not the same as the same as writing a story or a novel but it's interesting to me how easily the words can flow sometimes.
*sigh* I really need to get a good writing/idea/creative space finalized.
