Busy season

I got most of my cards written for LJ folks. Now it's time to do the ones for the Crocheters.

No packages are mailed. Still locating packing material and addresses. In some cases, still trying to find the content.

I slept most of the day. Went back to bed around 9 ish and didn't get up until 1. Dollface cuddled in about 10:30 and slept until 1:30.

[livejournal.com profile] raincitygirl I got your request for the full newsletter. And Yes, Please to a card. My address is on my wishlist post.

[livejournal.com profile] elke_tanzer and [livejournal.com profile] tanacwyr, y'all are just going to have to share. Not cards, package. It's one box going to the address I have.

Any of the foodies on my list: is Borsao a good winery? Br. Robert got me my annual bottle. it's Vina Borgia Campo De Borja 2002. It's a grenache. It's Spanish. All I know is it's red. Should I drink right way or let age a few years?
Never mind, i found a review.

Borsao 2002 Campo de Borja ($7.99)
This bright, cherry-red wine is a blend of 75 percent Garnacha plus Tempranillo, made in the Campo de Borja wine region in Northeastern Spain, not far from Rioja. Its full, forward aromas can only be described as "exuberant," ripe red-berry fruit and a distinctive mix of black and white pepper. With time in the glass, it opens up to even more heady fruit, as luscious and sweet as raspberry Kool-Aid. It's not sweet but appropriately dry and tart in the mouth, though, fresh berry fruit and fragrant pepper held up by lemony, mouth-watering acidity; there's a wisp of dry tannins in the finish. A real "fruit bomb," it's neither elegant nor austere, but it shows complexity and balance unusual in a low-end wine. US Importer: Cutting Edge Selections, Fairfax, Ohio, and other regional importers; from Jorge OrdoƱez. (Aug 10, 2004)

FOOD MATCH: Fine with grilled steaks, or for that matter, just about any red meat or sharp cheese.
